Gurumin Wiki

Parin is the default and canonical name of the main protagonist and primary playable character of Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure. She is an spunky twelve year old girl who comes to Tiese Town to live with her grandfather while her parents go abroad on an excavation.

After introducing herself to the townsfolk, Parin sees Puchi threatening to attack what appears to be a little girl. Parin frightens him off with her super pretty missile kick. Parin soon learns that the "girl" is in fact an Obake, a mythical creature that can only be seen by children and animals.

Headgear[]

Gurumin contains a variety of different headgear that Parin can equip. Many types of headgear can be bought from Disk's Shop in exchange for Pockles. Hyperbolic will trade some headgear in exchange for Gold Medals. Some headgear is found or given as a reward for completing certain challenges. All types of headgear can be upgraded at Disk's Shop in exchange for Junk.

For new players, it is highly recommended that you obtain and upgrade the Goggles and Gas Mask headgear to level 2 as quickly as possible, as many areas have water or gas which can quickly drain Parin's HP. While other headgear offer these protections, the Goggles and Gas Mask are available early and cost very little in Junk, as they only need be upgraded once each to gain immunity.

Note: Headgear retains effects from previous levels, unless otherwise specified.
